Everything your plan needs. Built for families like yours.
Succession Plan covers the full journey. From organizing what you have today to making sure your family is ready when the time comes.
Start with what you have.

Upload your existing will, trust, deed, or tax return. Our system reads each document. It pulls out the key details and presents everything in plain English.
No more wondering what that trust from 2014 actually says. Upload it, and we show you where things stand.
- Reads wills, trusts, deeds, and tax returns
- Identifies named people, assets, and roles
- Flags what is missing, stale, or contradictory
- Shows you a plain-English summary you can understand
Build your plan, one question at a time.
No long forms. No legal jargon. We ask you one clear question, explain why it matters, and wait for your answer. Every answer saves on its own. Come back whenever you are ready.
The questions adapt to your situation. A farm family sees questions about land, leases, and water rights. A family with a business sees questions about entities and agreements.
Documents you can create:
All documents follow your state or province's legal requirements.
See the whole picture.
Your assets, your family members, your advisors, your documents. All in one place. See who owns what and what happens to each piece when the time comes.
A simple view shows how everything connects. Your trust owns the LLC. The LLC owns the farm. The farm passes to your daughter. No spreadsheets. No guesswork.
What you can track:
- Land (acreage, legal descriptions, leases, mineral rights)
- Businesses and entities (LLCs, partnerships, S-corps)
- Financial accounts (bank, brokerage, retirement)
- Life insurance policies
- Real estate and personal property
- Ownership percentages and valuations over time
Make it fair.
When one child runs the farm and the others do not, “equal” is not always “fair.” Our planning tools let you model different ways to divide things. You see the result for each family member in clear, plain terms.
“Sarah receives the farm and equipment, valued at $1.8M. Tom and Lisa each receive $600,000 in life insurance proceeds.”
Scenario options include:
- On-farm heir receives land; off-farm heirs receive life insurance
- Right of first refusal or buy-sell options
- Installment sales over time
- Sweat-equity credits for the child who stayed and worked
Bring your advisors together.

Your attorney, CPA, financial advisor, and insurance agent probably do not talk to each other. Succession Plan gives them one shared view of your plan.
Invite each advisor with a single link. Set clear permissions. Who can view. Who can suggest changes. Who can see financial details. Everyone stays on the same page.
Permissions are simple and clear:
Can view
See the plan, read documents
Can help edit
Suggest changes, add notes, complete tasks
Only after I pass
Access opens only when the time comes. A real person on our team verifies first.
Every action is logged. Who viewed what, when. This record protects your family.

Creating the documents is half the job. Making them legally valid is the other half. We guide that, too.
Our process follows your state or province's requirements exactly. The rules are different for each document, and we know them. In Iowa, a will is signed in person, on paper, with two witnesses. Remote notarization never completes a will. It can only add the self-proving affidavit.
Three ways to execute:
Self-guided
We walk you through the exact steps, with printed signing instructions
Remote notarization
A licensed notary joins you on video for eligible documents, like your power of attorney. Never for your will.
Concierge signing ($350 per visit, available in Iowa)
A notary and two witnesses come to your home.
Your plan stays alive.
A plan in a drawer gets stale. Life changes. Laws change. Your plan should change, too.
Succession Plan watches for the moments that matter. A new grandchild. A land purchase. A move to a new state. When the law changes, our team reviews it with our attorney partners. If something affects your plan, we let you know.
Your plan-health score tells you at a glance:
- What is complete and current
- What needs your attention
- What is missing entirely
When the time comes.
When a family member passes, the people carrying out your wishes need clear guidance. Succession Plan gives them what they need.
- The people you choose get access to your plan
- Document locations and access instructions in one place
- Contact information for all your advisors
- Operational notes for running the farm or business
Coming soon: a step-by-step guided module for the person carrying out your wishes, with deadline tracking and filing guidance.
Leave more than instructions.
Your plan covers the practical side. But what about the personal side?
Write letters to each of your children. Share the story of how you built what you built. Tell them what matters to you and why.
These are not legal documents. They are the things your family will treasure most.
