Privacy Policy

Draft of October 28, 2026

What we collect

We collect what you give us. That includes your name, how to reach you, your family, your assets and your answers.

We also keep the documents you upload.

We ask for sensitive numbers only when a document needs them. We never ask for them in the free assessment.

How we use it

We use your information to build your plan, run the service and reach you.

We never sell your information. We never share it with others for their marketing.

Who sees it

You decide who sees your plan. Only the people you invite can see it.

Some companies help us run the service, like hosting and email. They may use your data only to do that work.

How we protect it

Encrypted in transit (TLS).

Social Security, Social Insurance and account numbers are encrypted field by field.

Every change is written to a log that cannot be edited.

Counting visits

We count page visits and clicks to make the site better.

We never put sensitive numbers, document text or your answers in these counts.

If you live in Canada

A law for all of Canada, called PIPEDA, keeps your data safe.

If a breach creates a real risk of serious harm, we will tell you. We will also tell the federal privacy office.

If you live in Quebec, Law 25 also applies. We will name our privacy officer here before we open to Quebec families.

If you live in the United States

Many states have their own privacy laws. Your rights depend on where you live.

You may have the right to see, fix, copy or delete your information.

If a breach exposes your Social Security number, we will tell you as your state's law requires.

Your choices

You can see, fix, download or delete your information. Ask a person and we will help.

You can close your account at any time. You keep the right to download your documents.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you first.
